Returns & Refunds Policy

At Brighton Toyota, we want you to be completely confident when purchasing genuine Toyota parts online. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help. Please take a moment to read our clear and simple returns policy below.

What Can Be Returned

We accept returns for new, unused, and saleable items within 30 days of purchase.

To qualify:

  • The part must be in original Toyota packaging, unmarked and undamaged.
  • It must not have been fitted, installed, modified, or painted.
  • Proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation) is required.
  • The following items are not eligible for return unless faulty or damaged upon delivery:
  • Electrical or electronic components
  • Batteries
  • Liquids or fluids (including oils, coolants, and additives)
  • Painted or colour-coded parts
  • Items that have been fitted to a vehicle
  • Special order or non-stocked items ordered specifically at your request

If you’re unsure whether your item qualifies for return, please contact our support team before shipping it back.

How to Return an Item

  1. Request a Return – Contact our team with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Wait for Approval – We’ll confirm your eligibility and provide return instructions.
  3. Package Securely – Items must be returned in their original Toyota packaging, protected to prevent damage.
  4. Send the Item Back – Customers are responsible for return postage unless the error was ours (e.g. incorrect part supplied).

Refunds and Shipping Cost

Shipping costs are non-refundable when the return is due to change of mind or incorrect part selection.

If your return is due to a faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied item, Brighton Toyota will cover both the return and replacement shipping costs.

Processing Your Refund

Once your return has been received and inspected, you may choose a refund, replacement, or store credit. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method (e.g.PayPal, credit card).

Please allow:

  • Up to 14 business days for your return to reach our warehouse (depending on carrier).
  • Up to 5 business days for inspection and processing after arrival.
  • An additional 7 business days for funds to appear in your account.

You’ll receive a confirmation email once your refund or exchange has been processed.

Packaging Requirements

All returns must be in their original Toyota packaging and securely packed to avoid transport damage. Items not properly packaged or missing packaging may be delayed or rejected.

Order Cancellation or Modification

Once your order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled or modified — you’ll need to submit a return request.
If you wish to cancel or change your order before dispatch, please contact us immediately during business hours (8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday). We’ll do our best to stop the order before it leaves our warehouse, but this is not guaranteed once processing has begun.
